Methodology: the 4 scoring criteria
The 0-100 score is calculated from four pillars, each worth 25 points. This methodology provides a balanced assessment of the digital health of each Facebook page in your network.
Engagement (25 points)
Measures your audience's interaction rate: likes, comments, shares, and clicks relative to the number of fans. A high engagement rate means your content resonates with your local community. The national franchise average sits around 1.5%; the best networks exceed 4%.
Posting Frequency (25 points)
Evaluates your posting consistency over the last 30 days. Facebook's algorithm favors active pages: posting 3 to 5 times per week is the optimal rhythm to maintain your stores' visibility in the news feed.
Growth (25 points)
Analyzes the progression of fan count and organic reach over the last month. Steady growth reflects an effective content strategy and strong local attractiveness. Networks that publish unique content see their growth increase by 30% on average.
Responsiveness (25 points)
Evaluates response time to messages and comments. Local consumers expect a response within 24 hours. Responsive pages earn a "Very Responsive" badge on Facebook, which builds trust and encourages further interactions.
How to interpret your results
Once the benchmark is launched, you get a complete dashboard with your network's overall score and a breakdown by store. Here is how to read your results:
- Score 80-100: Excellent. Your network is among the top 10% performers. Maintain this momentum.
- Score 60-79: Good. Your presence is solid but optimizations are possible, especially on frequency or engagement.
